Role Description

GTZ India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager (Steel Mill division) for a full-time, on-site position across both Eastern and Western India. The Senior Technical Sales Manager will be entrusted with a broad range of responsibilities encompassing Technical Sales, Technical Support, Sales Strategy, and Customer Service, serving both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead technical sales initiatives and drive revenue growth through strategic sales execution.
• Provide comprehensive technical support across multiple product lines, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, facilitating seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded, ensuring long-term business relationships and brand loyalty.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven expertise in Technical Sales and the ability to drive successful sales strategies within the technical domain.
• Extensive experience in Technical Support and Customer Service, with the capacity to deliver solutions across all levels of customer engagement.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationship-building with clients, team members, and senior leadership.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen analytical mindset.
• A Graduate Engineer or Master’s in Science (preferably with a Chemical Engineering background).
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the technical sales domain, demonstrating progressive career development and significant contributions to the field.

Job description

• PHP developer with knowledge of SQL.
• Participate in the full life-cycle development process from software definition, through design, development, test (Unit & Integration), release, and maintenance
• Having knowledge of any of the given web services like JSON, REST APIs/web services
• Code management on the versioning control system, Git
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP
• Must have previous experience in the development of high-end web applications in PHP, MYSQL/POSTGRESQL
• Previously built applications/websites in MVC frameworks
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, preferably jQuery
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with SQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Strong knowledge of coding best practices, server deployment, and troubleshooting
